A charity organization (non-profit) to Serve Our Youth - our future leaders.

Qamer Foundation was founded in the memory of my children: Qamer, Ahmed and Nabil;
who were decreed to pass away in a tragic house fire on July 20th of 2002 in St.Catharines, Ontario, Canada.

We serve our youth today, for better leaders tomorrow. We organise through funding different activities for our youth, to motivate and keep them on the right path. The path to knowledge, good deeds, volunteer for other and to be our future leaders.

An ongoing project, with Heart To Heart Africa, is to build wells in Kitonga Village, Tanzania - in Africa

We organise and provide the following for our members:
  • Seminars in partnership with the Mosque:
    • Since January 2008, a monthly seminar is held on the Last Sunday of the month from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. in the Mosque located at 117 Geneva Street and is led by our Imam Arafat, discussing Islam and other topics such as: Time management, fitness, etc. These seminars are followed by a pot-luck dinner.
    • In April 2009, we started a new program: a monthly seminar is held on the 2nd Sunday of the month from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on translation of the holy book "QURAN" into english, by Imam Arafat in the Mosque.
  • Since December 2003, we sponsor an annual trip to “Reviving the Islamic Spirit” conference at the Toronto Convention Centre.
